Day 17 – Saturday (Sabado) – 15/10/2011 – Playa Coronado

Hola Amigos and Amigas, here we are again into another weekend.  Well today we started off with our usual routine (don't we all no matter where you live have a routine?) anyways, we ate breakfast, walked Reese, then we were off to the beach for some exercise.  We took a 2 hour walk, met a gentleman from Ottawa, Canada and his dog Rocky.  When we returned home we did our running sprints then it was time to shower to get ready to meet our friends for a full day of real estate exploring.
As Nancy was showering, hair full of shampoo - wait for it, the water pressure went out, no more water.  It was kind of funny to me, but she did not think so.  However, within 5 minutes the pressure returned and she was able to finish showering, as did I.

We drove about 50km west to go to a beautiful high-end development called Buenaventura, met up with a sales gal who told us about the place and took us for a tour around the community.  What a beautiful location.  They are building an 18 hole Jack Nicholas Golf Course, they have Equistrian facilities, 4 beach clubs, a hotel, 3km of beach front, many man-made lakes on the property, spa, fitness, and just all-around beautiful grounds.

Once we departed we headed to a BBQ for free food and drinks at another development project called CasaMar.  There is nothing here yet except a model, but the concept looks grand.  We looked around, listened to music, ate and drank.  Ended up getting an appointment in the city next Wednesday with one of the development group guys to go over other developments they are working on.

It was then time to drive back home (shhhh don't tell anyone but we were kind of 6 sheets to the wind going home, thank god we are gringos here and no one really cared about driving home with a few cocktails in us).

That is it for this evening
Salud - the panama man
