Day 11 – Sunday (Domingo) – 09/10/2011 – Playa Coronado

Hey notice the date change above, here in Panama the day always goes first, then the month, then the year, so I am not messing with your mind by changing this going forward.  It is nice to pay attention sometimes.
Usual Sunday morning, although we do need to find church somewhere, that is on our list.  Breakfast, Reese, and then off to the grocery store via our own 2 legs (walking of course to buy a few things).
It was a slow relaxing day, sunny day, so we hung out by the pool and met a few more neighbors who do not stay here full time anymore, they now live in Gorgona.  He is a Panamanian and she was from Cuba.  Today was the best breeze of our short stay thus far.  Also, needed to make an appointment online for a visit to the US Embassy this week as I need to renew my passport.  Tidbit of information for you, if you are traveling out of the country with your passport, make sure you have at least 6 months left on it otherwise you cannot travel.  Mine expires next June, but I am traveling back to the US in March, that won’t be a problem, but coming back to Panama would be as I would only have 3 months left on my passport – so renewal is in order.
