We found great pizza in Panama

Day 334 (Dia trescientos treinta cuatro) - Saturday (Sabado)

So you visit or live in different places and of course you try different foods. I would go out on a limb and say most of us search for the ultimate pizza as one of those foods we search for in a new place. We are no different, we have been to over 12 different places now that serve pizza in Panama, most of it has been good but not great - until last night. We strolled through the area of Panama City called El Congrejo and went to an Italian Restaurant called Bella Gianna with one purpose in mind PIZZA.

What we came away with is the following. 2 Great pizzas for 10 bucks each, a large 16" mushroom, and a large 16" veggie, and an AntiPasto for 10 bucks as a starter.  The atmosphere and service was so far unmatched by any other restaurant we have visited in Panama, they actually know how to serve (you know everyone gets their food at the same time). The restaurant is located 1 block east of Via Argentina, on the same road as Roberto Durans Restaurant.

We arrived at 8:30pm and from the picks below you can see we kind of had the place to ourselves, but by 8:40pm there was only one large table left empty, the place was hopping. The wait staff was kind and knew how to serve you right (spoke English too, always a plus but not required).

Well the pizza had a great taste and we would recommend this place to all you pizza lovers out there. Let the journey continue and who says you cannot get great pizza in Panama?

Divertiti (Enjoy)
