What is Mamon Chino anyways?
Mamon Chino is a hairy fruit on the outside, that when cut open, presents a slippery fruit ball center that contains a seed. You kind of suck on the slippery fruit center and some folks do eat the seed inside but the seed does contain toxins that may be allergic to some. In trying to determine the taste, I would say it is close to a grape, not too sweet, not sour, maybe like a white grape.
Anyways, we bought 10 of these things for a quarter to try, the verdict? we bought 10 to try, that will be all she wrote.
