Is there a perfect weather place?

Day 307 Sunday (Domingo) - Panama City

One of the main attractions to Panama is the year round weather. Weather is pretty much something you can count on here. Whether you like cool and breezy, like the spring in the US, or hot and humid, like the summer months in the US, Panama can accommodate.

SO why talk about this? The US has been seeing some very very hot and unbearable summer temps this year, plus the swings in temperature to us became something we did not want to deal with anymore. We now live in Panama City, sure it gets hot anywhere from 88-92 on most if not all days, and at night 75-80. Temps you can count on, day after day, month after month. In the states, it has been roasting, 95 and up in many if not all states, then you get the mighty dip at night that can take things down to 60's sometimes.

In London, where the summer Olympics are being held it has been dropping into the 50's at night, hmmmm that's not summer, is it?

Most of us spend our time complaining about the weather in the states, too hot, too cold, blah blah blah. Here in Panama City it is HOT, period, no discussion, don't like hot, stay inside and turn on the A/C, don't like A/C, move to the mountains where the temps will stay spring like year round (that's if you can stand the isolation of course).

In our case, the city temps are great, our bodies have acclimated to it, now the 70's seems too cool, we workout during the day, outside and sweat, the issue for us now becomes when you go inside to a store and they have the A/C cranked sometimes a 20 degree difference from the outside. When you have a temperature range between the inside and outside of 20 degrees you will find the outside stifling. We have turned our A/C on a total of 4 times for about 2 hours each time mainly to remove the high humidity, otherwise the windows are open and the fans are on.
