Day 189 Sunday (Domingo) - Playa Coronado
Happy Easter to all who celebrate. Kind of interesting here in Panama on this day. It seems most locals are more interested in getting in their cars and heading back to the city before the big traffic jam rush later on. Last night was big party night here in the beach area, music, drinks, etc... Made for an interesting Easter Eve.
The country here is mainly Catholic, like most Latin American countries, but Easter also coincides with the last long weekend of the summer as we discussed in yesterdays blog, so it is more partying than praying.
We will be with friends tonight for our Easter dinner, hope you are enjoying your family and friends today also.
