A new month has arrived. Hope you tricked and treated yourself well yesterday on Halloween. The country of Panama is getting ready for 3 big Independence Holidays this month. Here's the low-down.
1 - November 3rd, Independence from Columbia (Yes Panama was once a part of Columbia) in 1903
2 - November 10th, 1st cry of Independence from Spain in Los Santos (story has it that in 1821 the leaders of Los Santos went out this day and cried for their independence from Spain. Los Santos was the headquarters for the freedom movement at that time).
3 - November 28, Independence from Spain in 1821, which allowed Panama to become part of Columbia.
As you can imagine, the country will be adrift in parties. We will keep you posted on all the events.
