Day 304 Thursday (Jueves) - Panama City
When it comes to fresh seafood nothing beats traveling to the local fish market here in Panama City. Yesterday we headed out to get our seafood fresh off the boats and we had the place to ourselves. The vendors were ready to make the sale and we were ready to buy.
Panama may be limited in the kinds of seafood they catch locally but don't let the limited choices fool you, its all in the taste and freshness that counts anyways. $25 later our trip concluded with the purchase of 2lbs of Lobster, 2lbs of Shrimp, and 2lbs of the local sea bass called Corvina. If you like seafood make it a point to stop in and buy from the local fisherman here in Panama City. If you are only visiting, no problem, make your purchase, head upstairs to the restaurant, give them your seafood, and they will cook it up for you to enjoy.
Come To Panama and Turn Your Frown Upside Down.
