Day 20 – Tuesday (Martes) – 18/10/2011 – Playa Coronado

Let's explore some grocery items today.  Change it up a bit.  OK so we have found 3 main grocery stores in the area, Reys, Super 99, and Super Xtra.  All have the very same groceries, although we find it odd that Reys does not carry any fish - who knows!!!.  As in most parts of the world, the grocery stores are very similar in prices, some items are cheaper here, and some are cheaper over at the other store, but in general we are talking pennies per item, so we have found that it doesn't matter which store or in all the stores that you shop you won't go broke.  (FYI - if you buy local Panamanian items and/or Central and South American items.  If you want your Kelloggs Cornflakes then guess what, you will pay a good price for those, so stick to local, trust us you will live to see another day.
